Asphalt feed control in Finisher

The system Digi Sonic III consists of an ultrasonic sensor and the power control unit. It is used to precisely control the amount of material in the feed screw (acting on it) before its screed Finisher.

MOBA Digi-Sonic SYSTEM MODE

The Digi Sonic III sends ultrasonic waves which are reflected from the surface of the material.

Depending on the time that elapses between sending and returning the wave, the system calculates the distance between it and the highest surface of the material.

The feed control unit has a potentiometer with which we set the desired height of the material that the screw will have and the sensor of the system always makes sure it is stable by acting accordingly.
